Total Field 6 synchronised HD video projectors, colour, sound, 12 minutes duration, framed drawings by Ganzfeld workshop participants. This work was produced at the Adelaide Experimental Art Foundation (AEAF) during a residency in 2015. The key concerns of expanded cinema and affect are explored through an experimental, moving image installation. The Ganzfeld experiment, involving perceptual deprivation, was employed to induce altered states of consciousness as the primary means to generate content for a series of films. Documentary footage of the generative process, revealing the participation of a group of individuals who "produced" the imagery, was projected simultaneously within a space adjacent to the main gallery. The artist's role is therefore akin to the screen: a filter onto which the audience projects the images.
